Lectures in the MAGKS program are typically scheduled as compact courses and take place at one of the participating universities during term breaks. Courses are offered by faculty of the participating universities and guest professors from other German and international universities. They are taught in German or English and typically comprise lectures as well as tutorials.

Each semester, there are typically at least four courses on offer.
