The Department of Economics at the University of Göttingen is hosting a PhD workshop in macroeconometrics on April 15 and 16, 2016. The workshop is primarily intended for PhD students and young post docs working in the area of macroeconometrics or empirical macroeconomics. The aim of the workshop is to bring together doctoral students and researchers who work on macroeconomic topics using advanced econometrics. The workshop gives doctoral students the opportunity to present their research in a conference setting and to get feedback from senior economists.
Theoretical econometric as well as applied papers using recent time series or panel data techniques are welcome. Completed manuscripts or extended abstracts can be submitted via email to tino[dot]berger[at]wiwi[dot]uni-goettingen.de. Submissions must be received on or before January 31, 2016.
